The largest physician group practice on the Texas High Plains is the Amarillo Diagnostic Clinic, located at 6700 W. 9th. This distinguished group of physicians includes six internists who practice adult general care and serve as primary care physicians to their patients. Specialists at the Clinic practice in the areas of cardiology, endocrinology and metabolic disease, gastroenterology, infectious disease, pulmonology and rheumatology. Patients at the Clinic like the convenience of having access to almost any diagnostic test without leaving the building. Diagnostic services include diagnostic imaging (radiology), nuclear medicine, a full laboratory and mammography.
