Discovery is a hands-on experience at the Don Harrington Discovery Center. For over two decades, the Discovery Center has brought the excitement of science to the Panhandle area, through permanent and traveling exhibits, planetarium shows, special events, educational/outreach programs and workshops.
Discovery Center visitors learn by putting hands and minds to work together on more than 100 different fascinating displays, each with a lesson to teach. The Horace and Katherine Wilson Wing contains the Exploration Gallery, The Construction Zone and Kidscovery areas that concentrate on different sciences. With the Addition of the Jack B. Kelley Family Wing, new interactive exhibits will excite and educate visitors about the earth and life sciences important to this region. The Discovery Center is located at 1200 Streit Drive, in the heart of the Harrington Regional Medical Center.
